Kate Fletcher has been playing violin since the tender age of nine and singing for a lot longer than that. Never one to shy away from the lime-light, Kate fronts the band's concert set and enjoys calling the occasional dance.

Kate is an original member of the Horsley Band, joining the merry throng along with her dad Pete, at the age of just twelve. At time she thought it was a good excuse to be allowed to stay up past bedtime (since band practises traditionally start and finish late).

Kate has also played with Rachael in a busking outfit during her student years, for a brief while with Luke in a pop band in London, in a German rock band, in an Irish folk band in Berlin, and sang and tap danced her way through numerous musicals. Despite these attempts to escape, somehow she would always inexplicably be drawn back into the band's clutches. She suspects witchcraft.

Kate now resides in Bristol with the band's sound technician Chris Tazewell.
